&lt;p&gt;Which is why I was surprised to catch this bit about the redesign to the theme and branding that will accompany next months release of the newest LTS, and will, by extension, be the Linux that I will stare at for the next eighteen months.  It’s actually pretty slick, no?&lt;/p&gt;
